Constantly seeking change and challenge, I've lived in all sorts of environments throughout the world and I've pursued several different careers. From the slums of Malaysia to the highrises of Singapore, from the projects of East L.A. to the suburbs of the O.C., from the ivy-clad stone buildings of Cambridge, England, to the stucco apartments of Houston, TX, and after experimenting with various neighborhoods in NY and NJ, I finally felt at home in Brooklyn with a primary career in real estate and a secondary career as an attorney.
Before finding real estate, my quest for a career was as arduous as my journey to NY. But this is also what allows me to relate to my diverse clients in order to find that perfect buyer or tenant for the owner I represent, or that perfect home for the buyer or tenant I represent. My legal background has armed me with strong negotiation and research skills to find or sell that apartment at the best price. My artistic background as a painter and pianist allows me to see the beauty and potential of an apartment in order to orchestrate the best way for the owner to present the apartment, or assist a tenant or buyer with visualizing the apartment as their home. My past experience as a piano teacher and therapist grants me the patience and understanding to work with my clients until we achieve their goals. Finally, my marketing and management background provide me with the ability to bring together the right team in order to effectively market and efficiently sell new development projects.
My partner, Fouad Rahme, an agent with a strong investment and finance background, works closely with me to offer investors and developers comprehensive service from conception to completion of a project. We've also established relationships with contractors, movers, attorneys, mortgage bankers/brokers, printing services, as well as brokers in other jurisdictions. More important, our clients have the benefit of getting two dedicated agents for the price of one, which also ensures there is always someone ready to assist you with your real estate needs.
When I am not hard at work for you, I enjoy snowboarding, scuba diving, and traveling. But I also enjoy quieter activities like reading, music (from classicial and jazz to rock and hip hop), painting, and cooking. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and I am a licensed attorney in New York and New Jersey.
